Spiral is recessed to reduce risk of needle sticks when removing from package. One step removal of the drive and guide tube. Flexible guide tube can be gently shaped for easier insertion. Simple connection to leg plate, no orientation required. Attaches to the patient via a self-adhesive grounding electrode.
